Hopalong Cassidy needs HELP!

This lovely and young border collie mix was found by Good Samaritan, who used to work with us here at HSNBA, and she just knew she wanted to help him. Luckily, she now works at a vet clinic and they were able to get some initial Xrays and exams done for him and get him started on some pain meds. Poor Hopalong Cassidy has a broken femur and a pelvic fracture, but despite the pain and discomfort he must be in, he has been nothing but affectionate, calm and good-natured to all of us trying to help him.

He has a long road ahead of him, probably at least two surgeries in his very near future and loads of physical therapy while the vets try to get him fixed up so he can have a normal life.

He has a foster lined up, but we MUST raise funds to cover the cost of his surgeries ASAP. While the vet clinic in question has always been very good to HSNBA, offering deep discounts, this dog will need a lot of veterinary care and we can't expect them not to be compensated for the amount of work this dog is going to need.
