Hood Cream : Short Film
Hi, my name is Denver Williams and I’m raising funds for my film Hood Cream.
I have a complete strategy for submitting Hood Cream to twenty-seven unique film festivals this year and believe that following this films trajectory will provide me with an opportunity to expand my art and music beyond my hometown here in Fort Worth, TX.
Your support would help cover submission costs, promotions and help with travel. I am committed to attending the festivals (whenever possible) that accept the film and participating in Q&As. In conjunction with the film I'll be booking a live performance of my music in the day(s) sorrounding the festival. I will also be looking ahead to contact Radio/Local Press to promote these efforts.
The festivals are in cities the US and some International including
NYC, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Denver, Kansas City, Cleveland, Jerome, Dublin, and many more.
I have a good feeling about this, and that is why this is the first time I'm reaching out for this kind of support.
A little bit about the film...
HOOD CREAM is an offbeat short film which tells the story of a local genre of music and the portals people believe exist around Fort Worth, Texas. It also focuses upon a man’s personal journey, being a squiggly line rather than a straight or circular one. The film shows some of the people and places that inhabit his world, and the music that has come out of it.
