Dear friends and family my name is Blessy, and I am reaching out during the most heartbreaking chapter of my family's life. My beloved sister, Shehnaz Thomas, was tragically taken from us in a sudden, devastating accident here in Ontario. Her body is currently under the care of the Centre of Forensic Sciences in Toronto.

Our broken hearted parents are flying from India to Canada in the coming days so that we can lay my beautiful sister to rest together as a family.

Arranging a funeral suddenly in Ontario and bringing my parents across the world at a moment's notice is an overwhelming financial mountain. We have met with Erb & Good Family Funeral Home in Waterloo, where the funeral services, professional care, and visitation alone cost $15,000. When adding separate cemetery burial plot fees and emergency international flights to get my parents here immediately, our true financial hurdle is about $45,000 to $50,000.

How the Funds Will Be Used:

-Funeral Home Services (Erb & Good): $15,000 for chapel services, visitation, and care.

-Cemetery & Burial Costs: Estimated $6,000–$8,000 for the final resting plot and interment fees.

-Emergency Parent Travel & Care: $5,000–$6,000 for last-minute flights from India and local accommodation.
