Honoring Young Ryder James Schira

Donation protected
This Christmas, our family suddenly lost young Ryder under the most tragic circumstances.  It was unexpected and we are devastated by this loss.   We are hoping to raise money for his memorial to honor him and say our final goodbyes. We are hoping to raise $5,000 by January 5, 2021 to help cover the cost of the funeral service and other related final expenses.  Ryder (Ry-Ry) James Schira tragically and unexpectedly passed away with his family by his side at home on Dec 26, 2020 after a wonderful Christmas Day. Ryder was born June 2004 with his twin brother Colt and they remained inseparable from that day forward. Ryder was incredibly happy and full of life up until the day he left this Earth. Ryder loved skateboarding, fashion, freestyle rapping, politics, art, and money but he treasured his family and friends above everything else. Ryder marched to the beat of his own drum with the fashion and trends that he created and wanted others to follow. Ryder loved his life and had a way of making everyone that he met feel loved, special and amazing. There was so much more he wanted to learn and share his creative nature with the world. Ryder found beauty in the most unexpected places, hidden gems, and sought to bring them to their full potential. He loved to make others laugh with his playful spirit; Always caring for and protecting His brother Colt and their younger brother Steele. Ryder did not intentionally leave or hurt anyone with his passing. He was growing into a fine young man with huge dreams and goals and made decision without seeing any consequence; He truly felt he was invincible. He was the infamous Ryder Schira, Yungtrends, the GOAT who was fiercely independent and aspired to be famous and adored by all. Please remember Ryder and his legacy forever. Keep his brothers, parents, and entire family close in your hearts and prayers. We pray that his passing is not in vain and in sharing the pain of our tragic loss of such a beautiful life, his memory can help save other young lives. Ryder is survived by his twin brother and best friend and Colt, his little brother and buddy Steele, Parents Jennifer, and Joshua Schira. His Grandparents Joseph & Barbara Schira & David & Lori Hanson. Great Grandma Nancee Dunnum, His Aunts and Uncles, Unkie (Jake) & Bunkie (Brook) Schira, Larry & Abbi Hanson, Christi & Al Santama. His loving cousins Benelli & Bear Schira, Haylee, Lukas, & Jayce Hanson, and Sidney Santama. He was loved and supported by the entire Schira and Hanson families, Goodyear Skatepark (“Goody”) and his entire skateboarding family. Visitation and Funeral Service for Ryder will be held on Saturday January 2nd from 6 – 9 pm at Thompson Funeral Chapel 926 S Litchfield Rd. Goodyear, AZ 85338
