<div>In memory of David Staats, a cherished and irreplaceable husband, father, friend, and co-worker, we have established this GoFundMe page. On Tuesday, December 10, Dave unexpectedly passed away, leaving behind his wife Sarah, to whom he was married for 20 years, and their two children, Gwendolyn (15) and Ethan (13). In Sarah's words, that was at least 30 years too short.

<div>Dave was the epitome of a loving spouse and father. If you knew Dave, you knew how much his family meant to him. He had a passion for life that you felt as soon as you met him. You rarely saw Dave without a smile, and his laugh was not far behind. He was deeply involved in his community and family life. He was previously a member of the Berwyn Fire Company and was a leader with BSA Scout Troop Devon 50. There wasn't anything he couldn't fix, a problem he couldn't solve. That applied both at home and at work. Dave was the glue that held everything and everyone together. He worked tirelessly on projects to make his house a home to be proud of. He used those same skills and tenacity at Belles Electric. Dave often completed tasks needed for a project before even being asked. You just knew it would get done. If you had a Disney or travel question, he would have several suggestions for you. And as a friend, Dave always had your back; there was no doubt about that.

<div>Dave's absence will be profoundly felt by everyone who had the honor of knowing him, but not more than Sarah, Gwen, Ethan, and his family. They will need support to navigate this unimaginable and immense loss. Your generosity and compassion can make a significant difference for Sarah and her family.
