Honoring the Life of Matthew Jackson

On behalf of family, friends, and fraternity brothers, we come together with heavy hearts to honor the life of our beloved Matthew Jackson. Matthew was more than a friend—he was a husband, a father, a brother, and a true example of what it means to live with purpose and integrity.

Matthew leaves behind his loving wife and two young sons, who were the center of his world. His greatest joy was being a present and devoted father, pouring into his boys every chance he could. Though his time with us was cut short, the legacy of his love, guidance, and faith will live on through them.

As a proud member of ETA XI Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), Matthew embodied the values of brotherhood, service, and achievement. He built lifelong bonds through his fraternity and extended those same values of loyalty and care to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Now, in this time of unimaginable grief, we are asking for support to help his family with funeral arrangements and memorial services. All proceeds from this campaign will go directly to Matthew’s wife and children, ensuring they have the assistance and stability they need during this difficult season.

No amount can ever replace the love and presence of Matthew, but your contributions will help lighten the burden for his family as they navigate the days ahead. Your prayers, words of comfort, and financial support are deeply appreciated.
