Terry McLeod was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend who brought laughter and warmth to everyone around him. Born in Canada, Terry spent nearly 30 years working security on the Las Vegas Strip, always ready with a joke and a smile. He truly loved helping others and took pride in keeping people safe, making a difference in the lives of so many he met through his work. His love for hockey was legendary—the game was on no matter what team, as long as it was on. It got to the point where the cable got cancelled because they didn’t need it for anything but hockey. Yet, when his grandkids visited, he’d happily swap out the game for their favorite shows, just to make them happy. His grandkids were one of the most important things in his life—they made him feel young and brought him so much joy.

 My name is Dylan, and I am Terry’s grandson. I am creating this GoFundMe to honor his memory and help our family during this difficult time. We didn’t realize Terry was struggling with his own mental health challenges, as he always tried to keep things light for those around him. His sudden passing has left our family heartbroken. The loss has been overwhelming, leaving us feeling lost and empty. We’re raising funds to help cover cremation costs and to support our family as we navigate this difficult time. This support will also help Terry’s wife as she searches for work, stepping in to help cover what Terry provided for our family. Your support will help us honor Terry’s memory and give us the space to focus on healing and mental health, which is so important right now.
