<div>It is with heavy hearts that we share the tragic loss of 9-year-old Silvanna Moreno. Silvanna was a bright and loving third grader at Sherman Elementary School in San Diego. She was the sunshine in every room she entered, always greeting staff and classmates with a big smile and an even bigger hug. Her friends describe her as kind, caring, and always happy, a true friend to everyone she met. She was also an amazing big sister to Roberto, showing love and devotion every day.

<div>Silvanna leaves behind her mother, Itzel de Jesus; her father, Roberto Moreno; her siblings, Isis, Fabian, and Roberto Nicolas; her grandmothers, Monica de Jesus and Florida Huerta; her grandfather, Manuel de Jesus and a large extended family of loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. The pain of losing such a bright and joyful soul is immeasurable for her family and everyone who knew her.

Era la luz del sol en cada aula que visitaba, siempre saludando al personal y a sus compañeros con una gran sonrisa y un abrazo aún más fuerte. Sus amigos la describen como amable, cariñosa y siempre alegre, una verdadera amiga para todos los que la conocían. También fue una hermana mayor increíble para Roberto, demostrándole amor y devoción a diario.
