<div>My mother, Sheneill Fitzpatrick, spent her life caring for others as a registered nurse, working in Chicago hospitals such as Cook County Hospital, the University of Chicago, Rush Medical Center, and the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center, to name a few. She served in critical care units, from the ER and the Burn Unit, to the Pediatrics ICU. She was beloved by her nursing friends, and her warmth, laughter, and smile lit up every room she entered. She cherished the camaraderie of her colleagues, loved to laugh, and adored her dogs and her family.
