<div>As many of you may have already heard, we’ve suffered a heartbreaking loss in our community. Our beloved colleague and friend, Sergeant Tillman, has passed away.

</div>

<div>SGT Tillman—affectionately known as Tilly—joined the Department of Campus Safety 10 years ago as an officer and, through dedication and compassion, rose to the rank of sergeant. She was a beautiful soul who consistently went above and beyond to support and protect those around her. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering commitment to service left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

<div>This is not only a tragic loss for our department but for her family, friends, and the entire NYU community.

<div>In honor of SGT Tillman’s memory, I would like to start a collection to support her family during this incredibly difficult time. Contributions of any kind are deeply appreciated and will go directly to her loved ones.
