Ronald (Ron) Annette, age 66, died peacefully on February 24, 2025, after a battle with pancreatic cancer. Ron is survived by his wife Joanne and his daughter Danielle.
An avid Yankee fan, Ron enjoyed watching, attending, and rehashing games with his daughter, his Boobah, Danielle. Ron and Danielle had a special relationship and loved talking about anything and everything, but most importantly, they loved laughing together. Ron had a wonderful sense of humor and a contagious laugh, which he shared with anyone willing to find humor in the everyday.
Ron also treasured spending time with the love of his life, his wife Joanne. The two of them loved to attend events with live music and spent their summers following That 70’s Band around Long Island, enjoying the atmosphere, the music, and the chance to dance. When they weren’t chasing the music, Ron and Joanne enjoyed vacationing in warm climates and going to the beach where they could relax together in the sun and water.
He was blessed to spend most of his final days surrounded by the warmth of loved ones. The family who survives him will miss him dearly—Ron’s energy and life are irreplaceable, but the memories of him will continue to bring a deep sense of joy and comfort to those who knew him. Nobody will ever be able to utter, “Oh Jazoo” without invoking the spirit of his love and humor.
Please help us support the Annette family during this difficult time. All proceeds will go to the family to help cover costs related funeral expenses and in memory of Ron Annette, the Annette family is currently in the process of working with local colleges/universities to develop a music education scholarship in honor of Ron. Proceeds toward this scholarship will be used to encourage young musicians to pursue a career teaching music, as this was truly Ron’s passion in life.
All donors will be notified if and when details are finalized so we may honor him through this devoted cause.
