Honoring Robert Melendez Sr.

On Monday, March 18, our family lost a great man and a loving husband, father, father-in-law, and grandfather.  But Robert was so much more than just those things. He was the man who you could count on for anything. He was always there when his wife and kids needed anything, and always there to help care for his grandkids, to pick them up from school, and to be there for all of their sporting events and milestones. He had the biggest heart and the biggest smile, and we are all struggling with how to move forward without him. 

The cause of Robert's death is not yet known but he passed away at home in his bed and we were told he did not suffer. We will provide more details as we get them.

Robert's unexpected death caught us all by surprise, as have the finances that come along with planning his funeral arrangements. Anything you can give would help us immensely in making sure that we are able to give Robert a final resting place he deserves.
