Hello, my name is Justin and I’ve created this page to help benefit my mother-in-law, Claudia Boddy. She just recently suffered the loss of her loving partner of 31 years, Ricky Taylor. Ricky was an Army Veteran, a dedicated grandfather “Giggy,” and a loving father, but also Claudia’s partner in crime in working behind the scenes to help the community in silent ways. Always willing to shop for local children in need, bake for community free meals, buy and wrap gifts for underprivileged children as Santa, Ricky supported Claudia through many years of silently serving their community. Ricky’s passing has left not only a vast emotional hole, but also a financial one.

Unfortunately, Claudia is now facing the daunting task, without the benefit of life insurance, of trying to manage end-of-life costs that could not be covered through other means, outstanding bills accumulated over months and months of caretaking and battling illness, and trying to afford the cost of living while losing the most significant source of household income.

Ricky's final wish before passing was to ensure the love of his life would be taken care of. Many people have reached out through various channels inquiring as to how they can help. I created this page so that anyone who wishes to help could do so in a way that would be the most beneficial to her in this tough time. On behalf of Claudia and her family, I’d like to thank you all for your kind words, well wishes, and generosity while we navigate the loss of this beautiful soul.
