Omar, our beloved chef, recently experienced the heartbreaking loss of his brother. While no words can ease the pain of losing someone you love, we hope to come together as a community to help lift some of the weight off his shoulders.

In addition to navigating this devastating loss, Omar has been left with the financial responsibility of arranging and covering his brother’s funeral and final expenses.

As someone who spends so much of his time taking care of others, we want to take this opportunity to take care of him.

We are asking our friends, family, restaurant community, and anyone who feels moved to help to consider making a donation. Every contribution, no matter the size, will go toward helping Omar cover his brother’s funeral expenses and ease the financial burden during this incredibly painful time.

If you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser and keeping him and his family in your thoughts and prayers would mean so much.

Thank you for helping us surround Omar with love, compassion, and support when he needs it most.
