<div>My mom passed away suddenly after a long struggle with mental health issues. Throughout my life, she did her best to care for me and mask her struggles, always putting my needs first. Recently, she experienced a severe mental episode that left her feeling unsafe in her own home. She ended up sleeping outside and in shelters for weeks, which led to her developing pneumonia, the flu, and a blood infection. Despite my efforts to get her help—reaching out to the police and supporting her as she admitted herself to various hospitals—her illness wasn't caught until it was too late.

<div> As her only child, I am now facing the heartbreaking task of arranging her funeral all alone. My mom always tried to plan ahead and had set up a life insurance policy to make sure I wouldn't have to worry, but it unfortunately lapsed during her episode. The funds raised here will go directly toward covering her funeral costs and giving her the peaceful farewell she deserves.

<div> Thank you so much for your support during this incredibly difficult time. Your kindness means the world to me and helps me feel less alone as I navigate this loss. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference and help honor my mom's memory.
