We are raising money for a scholarship in my son’s name to be presented to a student in his graduating class of 2026. Max passed away December 17, 2022 from brain cancer. We miss him so much, & feel this is a great way to honor his legacy! Any amount is truly appreciated!

FOREVER MAXSTRONG SCHOLARSHIP

Established in 2026, the year Max Brayden Fullen’s class would graduate, the Forever MaxStrong Scholarship honors the life and legacy of Max, whose strength, joy, and love left a lasting impact on the Petal community. A Petal High School student and member of Petal First Baptist Church, Max was known for his love of baseball, the outdoors, video games, and most of all, the people he loved.

This scholarship was created to encourage Petal High School seniors to reflect Max’s resilience, determination, and genuine care for others, and to serve as a reminder to live fully, love deeply, and face life with courage.

Applicants must submit an essay describing how cancer has impacted their life: personally, within their family, or through their community. Preference will be given to students involved in volunteer or service work who demonstrate compassion, strength of character, and a heart for helping others.

The Forever MaxStrong Scholarship stands as a lasting tribute to Max’s life and ensures his legacy continues through future generations of Petal students.
