<div>Let’s not pretend he needs an introduction; Marc Johnson’s place among the most original and influential skateboarders the world has ever known is forever secure.  His creativity and grace on a skateboard, in addition to his unparalleled determination, created a body of work whose influence will be felt for generations. It is undeniable that Marc changed the world of skateboarding forever.

<div>Though it may not have been apparent to those who knew Marc only through his skateboarding, much of his life was shaped by significant personal struggles.

<div>Despite the joy, purpose, and camaraderie skateboarding brought into his life, the path he followed gradually took an enormous toll.

<div>In his final years, he had lost much of what he had built and struggled to find the help and connection he so desperately needed.
</div>
<div>If Marc ever made you smile, inspired you, or brightened your day, we invite you to honor his memory by supporting the family he loved so deeply.
