My mother, Mao Ourk unfortunately passed away due to Covid on 11/23/2020. She was an amazing and generous person. I learned patience, humility, and kindness from my mother.
Mao gave birth to 7 children, was a mom to 9 children, grandmother to 5 grandkids. Some may describe her life as tragic, but she was a fighter and showed each of us how to live life despite our circumstances.
Given the fact she was infected by the virus, it was so hard to face the fact her loved ones were not able to be with her while she fought this battle. With all the FaceTime/zoom and phone calls we were able to see her go in peace.
We don’t ask for much but some of you have asked so we created this fund to help with funeral cost to cremated to then fulfill her wishes to spread her ashes in the ocean to be with our brother.
Thank you for all the love, support and kind words you all have given to help our family with this difficult time especially so close to the holidays. We appreciate each and everyone of you
