<div>Today, I lost my mother — my heart, my strength, my safe place.

<div><strong>Lourdes M. Centeno left this world at the age of 68, far too soon and without warning.</strong> She had the blessing of seeing her grandchildren grow into their teenage years, yet we were not given the chance to say goodbye. That absence is a pain words can barely hold.

<div>My mother was an extraordinary woman. Strong, intelligent, and endlessly selfless, she raised me as a single mother and worked tirelessly to give me a better life. Every sacrifice she made was rooted in love. She taught me resilience, integrity, and how to keep going even when life is heavy. Everything I am exists because of her.

<div>I now face this loss without family to rely on — carrying my grief alone while trying to do right by the woman who gave me everything. My deepest wish is to honor her with a beautiful, meaningful farewell through a dignified funeral and cremation. I want to place her in a beautiful urn and keep her close to our hearts, where she will forever remain with me and her grandchildren.
