Hi,

My name is Patricia Fitzpatrick. Our brother, Louis Peters, passed away very unexpectedly on Monday, February 24, 2025. He unknowingly had severe heart disease. We were/are unprepared for this tremendous loss. Louis blessed us with the 46 years of life we were able to enjoy with his lively spirit.

Louis was born in Florida. He had his son and moved to Colorado with his wife when his son was 4 or 5. He moved to Ohio 4 years ago, just before the pandemic in 2020. His only son, Dallas Peters, is in Colorado. Louis lived his life to be there for his son and provide him with a life most of us did not have. They were so close, spending most days together before he came to Ohio to get to know his family. I am so proud of the father he was to his son Dallas. Mere words cannot express the loss we feel at this time. Services being held at New Commers Funeral Home, 131 N Canton Rd., Akron, OH 44305. March 7 at 12:00 PM.

We are fundraising to cover the unexpected funeral expenses, travel expenses. Once the needs are met balance will go to support his son, Dallas, during this difficult time.
