Honoring the life of Ms. Leticia Gonzalez Lozano

As we have all been able to witness, 2020 has been a year of unpredictable losses for many. Unfortunately, after losing her brother, and our tio David in the past year, I share with you that my mother lost her final battle with COVID-19 on December 29th, 2020. Being hospitalized with complications since November 24th, we celebrated my little sister Gizelle’s birthday on the 4th, my youngest brother Andrew’s on the 9th, my oldest brother Carlos’s on the 11th and Christmas, without her. This was the first time celebrating without our mother physically being there and it’s painful to say we didn’t know it would be our last. Although Josie, Carlos and myself experienced her love into adulthood, Letty leaves behind a husband and 4 small children who will need our help, a village’s help, to raise them. Luis is 14, Alex is 13, Gizelle just turned 12 & Andrew is now 10 years old.

As we enter into the new year, we will begin our journey celebrating and honoring the life of Ms. Leticia Lozano. Many of you knew and loved her from working a majority of her life at Thomas Kelly High School & working the rest of her days at Prosser Career academy. She was dedicated to the school systems and the many children/staff who crossed her path daily. As her daughter, I can speak to the fact that she loved people and was a literal angel on earth who instilled spirit, faith, positivity and a smile on anybody who she came into contact with; a conversation with her was never short of laughter!! If you ever met her, even just once, you know her presence filled the entire room. She was created with a purpose of projecting love and light onto us & we are truly blessed to remember her living her best life, OUT LOUD. ❤️

Ms. Lozano was a firm believer in “it takes a village to raise a child,” so if she has touched your life in anyway, we ask that you find it in your hearts to help assist us with her funeral arrangements and the cost of living that will follow for the 4 youngest children who Letty leaves behind. We are keeping in mind that she has joined alongside all the other angels who fought long and hard against this virus this year so any donation will be appreciated far beyond measure. No donation is too small or too big & can be non-monetary as well.

Thank you all for making her life on earth so special and filled with love.
