Josiah Nathaniel Chiago was Brittany’s beloved 13-year-old son, a child whose severe autism never dimmed his radiant spirit. On July 12th, 2026, Josiah tragically drowned after eloping and falling into an irrigation ditch outside his father’s home on the Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Reservation. This heartbreaking loss has left Brittany and her family devastated, struggling to cope with the sudden absence of Josiah’s joyful presence.

 Josiah was the happiest, bubbliest boy—always smiling and giggling, bringing light and laughter to everyone around him. His warmth and infectious joy touched the lives of all who knew him, and his memory will forever be cherished. In the wake of this tragedy, Brittany and her family are raising funds to cover funeral expenses, a celebration of life, and to help with bills and living costs as they navigate this difficult time. The support from friends, family, and the community will make a meaningful difference as they honor Josiah’s life and begin to heal.
