Family, I never imagined I would have to write this post. With deep sadness, I must share that my brother, Jarmaine Barras, has passed away. There are no words to describe the pain of losing a sibling. We are grieving as a family, but we also want to celebrate the beautiful person he was. As we prepare to bring him home, please pray for our family. I've been reflecting on how kind and generous he was; there was nothing he wouldn’t do for his loved ones. Whether it was helping someone move, ensuring they had food to eat, or calling everyone in the family to make sure we stayed connected, his heart was golden and entirely selfless. Now he is free to rest. I’m going to miss you, Mannie. While I'm hurting, I invite you to share a story or fond memory of "Snoop" if you have one. To all my William Hart, Livaudais, West Jeff, Ruby Street, and Trianon family, we are coming home soon to lay him to rest.
