<div>On January 22, 2026, my son Jaque Rabon was shot and killed. He was unarmed. There were witnesses present. He was shot 11 times in the back.

<div>No mother should ever have to live with this pain. No family should have to bury their child this way.

<div>Jaque was more than what happened to him — he was my son. He was loved, he had a future, and his life mattered. Our family is devastated and searching for answers and accountability.

<div>This tragedy has also placed a severe hardship on our family. As his mother, I have been emotionally impacted in ways that are impossible to fully describe, and I have not been able to work while fighting for justice for my son.
