From Irasema's older sister, Ariana:

We need help. 

Irasema my sister is going to leave us soon.

As her family we would like to have her cremated. 

She is going to leave behind many friends who loved her. 

Her sisters are going to miss sitting in the kitchen putting puzzles together and knowing Irasema won’t be around anymore is unimaginable. Her sisters are struggling to accept that she won’t be in this world anymore.

Our mom is suffering the most. She is losing her baby. The loss of a child is not only devastating it’s not something that I believe parents are prepared to go through.

Irasema is a truthful and logical about everything. 

If you wanted her opinion, it was not going to be what you wanted to hear but it was the truth.

Even though it is difficult she is leaving us and I selfishly want to keep her here forever she would tell me that she wouldn’t want to be in bed all day unable to be independent and her true self. 

She is a very smart woman. She is my baby sister. My rock at times. She is the core to our family. 

Her employers have voiced she was a great person to work alongside. 

Her boss cared so much about her that when she didn’t hear from Irasema, she went to her apartment to make sure she was okay.

Her coworkers have told us many stories. One specific story was that Irasema would check in on a coworker every day to make sure she was doing well and okay. 

I’m asking for help. We want to have a cremation funeral. 

The time spent in hospital has been hard for Irasema and for us. We’ve spent many days and weeks and now months by her side. 

If you can and are able to help donate to her cremation funeral and other expenses, please know it will be used for Irasema and only her.
