I am writing this on behalf of my Aunt Audrey Fenton. Family and friends are raising funds on behalf of Howard J.King, “Howie” who passed away unexpectedly on February 13, 2026.

This fundraiser is for Howie’s family. The funds will go towards lessening the burden of funeral costs. Any monies not needed for that purpose will be used to continue the SRHS King memorial scholarship fund.

On February 13th, South River lost a legend. Mr. South River, as he was affectionately called, loved South River and South River loved him. Howie will be greatly missed by his family, friends , and the many people whose lives he touched.
