<div>Hello everyone, my name is Arsidez. I’m reaching out during one of the hardest moments of my life as my family prepares to say goodbye to my father, <strong>Homero León</strong>, after his sudden and heartbreaking decline.

<div>This past year has been incredibly heavy. My father bravely battled Parkinson’s and dementia, and only within the last month, we were devastated by an additional diagnosis of Hodgkin’s lymphoma. <strong>On December 23, 2025, we received the call no family is ever ready for — that he may have only 24–72 hours left before his transition.</strong>

<div>Living several states away, I created this GoFundMe to help my family and me travel to Georgia and to cover the most basic cremation services. Unfortunately, we do not have the resources for a larger ceremony, but we want to honor him with dignity and care during this final chapter.

<div>My father worked his entire life in service to others, always fighting for and standing beside communities who needed support the most. He was deeply compassionate, principled, and selfless — a hero in every sense of the word to me, and someone whose example will guide me for the rest of my life.

<div>Any support, whether through a donation or by sharing this fundraiser, means more than I can put into words. Thank you for holding my family in your thoughts during this painful time and for helping us honor my father’s life with the respect he deserves.

<div>With gratitude,
