Linda A. Hollingsworth, 61, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on August 14, 2018. She died at her Clarksville home with her family by her side.
A celebration of life will be held at 12 PM Monday, August 20, 2018 at the chapel of Sykes funeral home with Bishop William Martin III officiating. She will be laid to rest at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
Linda’s family will receive friends from 3 to 7 PM Sunday and 11 AM until the hour of service on Monday at the funeral home.
Linda was born April 11, 1957 in the Isle of Wight, Virginia to Ernest and Annie Mae Stephens.
On February 9, 1976 she enlisted in the US Army and served until February 17, 1981.
Linda worked as a civil service employee for 36 years. She was a devoted mother and wife and a active member at her church, City of David Christian center. She also served as an evangelist in which she was ordained in 2009.
Linda is survived by her husband of 39 years, Ricardo Hollingsworth; her children, Ricardo Hollingsworth II, Raquel Kerr, William Johnson, LaMisha Hollingsworth, and Carlene Hollingsworth; Her nine grandchildren, her mother, Annie Mae Stephens; and her siblings, three sisters and two brothers.
She will be deeply missed by her family friends and all who knew her.
