Remembering Gregg Becker
July 6, 1962 - October 1, 2020
The Becker family came to Inner Strength for customized workouts to help Gregg get in shape and prepare for a lung transplant. He endured COPD since 1998 and Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency (AATD) since 2014. When he came to us, Gregg was at about 26% lung capacity and still managed to complete hour-long workouts.
His wife, Kristi, and son, Cale, also spent time working with the coaches to reach their own personal goals. We have the deepest respect for the Becker family's dedication to each other. Kristi was a huge driving force of progress, ensuring that Gregg and Cale continued to make forward motion.
On August 10, 2020, the Beckers received a call to finally come in for a lung transplant procedure - just what they had been working so hard for. 51 days later, on October 1, 2020, Gregg lost his battle.
Our hearts break for the family and we cannot imagine the feelings that follow such a loss.
The least we can do is come together as the Inner Strength family and show the Becker family some love. Our goal is to raise money in any amount and allow Kristi Becker to decide where that money is placed - charity, memorial costs, medical bills, etc.
Any amount is deeply appreciated to honor the memory of Gregg Becker and pay respects to his beautiful family.
