<div>Con profunda tristeza y pesar, compartimos el inesperado fallecimiento de nuestro querido Darwin García López, quien nos dejó la madrugada del 2 de septiembre de 2025. Darwin tenía tan solo 18 años y acababa de graduarse este año: un joven brillante y prometedor con una vida llena de futuro. Estaba lleno de determinación y apenas comenzaba una nueva etapa en su vida.

<div>El martes por la madrugada, Darwin regresaba a casa del gimnasio, en su bicicleta eléctrica a altas horas de la noche, cuando un carro lo atropello y imediante se fue de la escena. El impacto lo hizo salir despedido de la bicicleta y sufrió una grave lesión en la cabeza y grabes golpes en todo su cuerpo. Su cuerpo permaneció en el suelo hasta que alguien lo encontró. Para cuando llegó a la ambulancia, Darwin ya no respondía y era demasiado tarde para salvarlo.

<div>Darwin deja atrás a una familia desconsolada: su querida madre y sus dos hermanos menores, junto con innumerables familiares y amigos que lo apreciaban profundamente. Era conocido por su humildad, amabilidad y espíritu afable. Darwin nunca buscaba problemas y era un joven bondadoso, apasionado e inteligente. Ya fuera compartiendo risas con amigos, ofreciendo apoyo a quienes lo necesitaban o soñando con su futuro, la energía de Darwin era contagiosa. Su sonrisa iluminaba cualquier habitación, y su carácter afable dejaba una huella imborrable en todos los que conocía.

<div>Esta repentina y trágica pérdida no solo ha dejado un vacío inmenso en nuestros corazones, sino que también ha supuesto una carga financiera inesperada para su familia. Esta recaudación de fondos se ha creado para ayudar a cubrir los gastos funerarios y honrar la vida de Darwin de forma significativa. Cualquier contribución, sin importar su cuantía, será profundamente apreciada por su familia en estos momentos tan difíciles. <div>It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of our beloved Darwin Garcia Lopez, who left us on the midnight of September 2, 2025. Darwin was only 18 years old and had just graduated this year — a bright and promising young soul with so much life ahead of him. He was full of determination and had only just begun a new chapter in his life.

<div>On Monday night going into midnight, Darwin was on his way home from the gym, riding his electric bike, when he tragically got hit by a driver who left the scene. The impact caused him to be thrown from his bike, and he suffered a severe head injury as well as other severe injuries. His body remained on the ground until someone found him. By the time he was in the ambulance, Darwin was no longer responsive, and it was too late to save him.

<div>Darwin leaves behind a heartbroken family — his loving mother and two younger brothers — along with countless friends who cherished him deeply. He was known for his humility, kindness, and warm spirit. Darwin never sought trouble and was a kind-hearted, passionate, and intelligent young man. Whether he was sharing laughter with friends, offering support to those in need, or dreaming about his future, Darwin’s energy was infectious. His smile had a way of lighting up every room, and his gentle nature left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

<div>This sudden and tragic loss has not only left an unfillable void in our hearts but has also placed an unexpected financial burden on his family. This fundraiser has been created to help cover the funeral expenses and to honor Darwin’s life in a meaningful way.
