Remembering Chaitanya (Chai) Patoor
It is with broken hearts that we share the sudden and unexpected passing of our beloved friend, colleague, husband, and father, Chaitanya “Chai” Patoor.
Chai was more than a leader. He was the heart of every room he entered. His warmth, humor, and genuine kindness touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Chai’s dedication and quiet brilliance shaped not only systems and strategies in the companies he worked for but also the lives of so many who worked beside him. He was a calm presence, a source of wisdom, and a man who led with humility, compassion, and purpose.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Chai’s greatest joy was his family. He leaves behind his parents, sister and devoted wife, Poornima, and their beloved daughter, Keertana. They were his world. Every story he shared reflected the deep pride and love he felt for them. Chai worked hard to create a life filled with laughter, learning, and care. His family was his reason for everything he did, and he carried that love into every aspect of his life.
Chai had an extraordinary way of making people feel valued. He gave his time freely, offering mentorship, encouragement, and friendship to anyone who needed it. Whether he was helping colleagues at work or supporting people in his community, including those affected by the 2025 Pasadena fires, Chai’s kindness always came from the heart. He celebrated others’ successes and found joy in helping those around him grow. His absence leaves a space that can never truly be filled.
