<div>It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Brian Walling, a devoted member of the Scotch Plains-Fanwood Ice Hockey family.

<div>Before his passing, Brian served as the Vice President of Youth Hockey for the Scotch Plains-Fanwood Ice Hockey Association. <span>Brian had a gift for making everyone around him feel special. He found true joy in the success and happiness of others. He never shied from the chance to help a young person, whether it be to mentor someone interested in the construction trades or to support a young athlete.</span>

<div>More than anything, he loved his family. He was a devoted husband and outstanding father, deeply involved in the lives of his three children, Liam, Lyla, and Declan. He was their biggest fan and a constant source of encouragement on the ice, the field or the court.

<div>Brian could always be found cheering from the sidelines, tying skates, cleats or sneakers before early-morning practices and celebrating every small victory. Brian loved his children deeply and he supported all of their dreams.

<div>In his absence, we want to ensure that Liam, Lyla, and Declan can continue pursuing the passions that Brian supported with so much dedication.
