I believe deeply in the power of nature to heal, inspire, and connect us. As a proud supporter of Outdoor Afro, I want to help create more opportunities for Black communities to feel at home outdoors, build lasting friendships, and develop leaders who will steward our lands for generations to come. Time spent hiking, gardening, kayaking, or simply sitting by the water has given me clarity, community, and strength—and I want others to have that too.
This month I am honoring the long tradition of Black generosity, leadership, and land stewardship by raising support for Outdoor Afro. Their year-round programs bring people together across ages and experiences, teaching outdoor skills, fostering mental and physical wellbeing, and centering Black connection to land, water, and wildlife. Every program helps dismantle barriers to access and creates spaces where Black joy in nature can flourish.
With your help, Outdoor Afro can expand its reach, train new leaders, and provide more outdoor experiences that nourish body and spirit.
