My father, Apolinar Veras López, known to many as "El Aguantao," was a joyful and generous person whose presence lit up every room. He was always ready to help others, and his laughter, dancing, and jokes made him unforgettable wherever he went. Apolinar faced cancer for the first time with incredible strength, and thanks to God and medicine, he recovered. Years later, the illness returned, and despite his resilience, his body could not overcome it. Even in his final moments, he never gave up hope, and our family held onto faith until his last breath. He was deeply loved by everyone who knew him, and his spirit will remain with us forever. Aguantao, I love you always. RIP.
