<div>Alissa was the best dog mom to our dog Max, a devoted friend and daughter, and a passionate reader and writer whose talent and creativity touched everyone around her. She loved to travel, she loved deeply, and she brought warmth and joy into every room she entered.

<div>Through hundreds of rounds of chemotherapy and everything that came with her battle against breast cancer, Alissa never stopped shining. She faced it all with a grace and strength that left me in awe every single day.
