Honoring Alex

Alex Mendez passed away today, Sunday, March 11, 2018. He was admitted on Thursday to the ICU after he passed out and became unresponsive at a friend's house. The exact cause of death is not yet known.  All of us are still in shock, it just doesn't seem real. 

Alex was 22 only years old.  That is too short a life for someone who enjoyed his so much.  If you were lucky enough to know Alex, you knew what a charismatic and happy person he was.  You know how much he cared about people, and how truly big his heart was.  He had a mischevious smile and was a charming and genuine human being who touched so many lives in his all too short time on this earth.  He had so many friends and people he loved, and who loved him.  In that sense, he was lucky. 

I'm sorry if you are learning about this from this post, I truly am.  The reason for this page is to help Alex's limited family offset some of his funeral expenses, and to help care for his dog and things left owing when you are just gone one day.  The funeral arrangements are being made, and I will update you when we know more.  I have been asked by his family to administer any funds for Alex, and will make sure anything you are generous enough to give, goes exactly where it should.
