<div>John bravely served as an Infantry Rifleman in the United States Marine Corps, and this fund is organized by his brothers in arms to provide support to his family. John leaves behind his wife, Nashaly, and his two-year-old daughter. Amongst the outpouring of support, Mom and baby have much to do following John's passing, including up front costs for moving, estate administration, and service arrangements. All donations will go directly to the family.

John advocated for equitable city infrastructure and redesigning urban spaces to be safer for pedestrians, cyclists, and transit riders. John himself was an avid cyclist.
