<div>The rugby community has lost a remarkable leader and friend with the sudden passing of Tinoifli “Tino” Scanlan on the evening of November 19th. For those who may not have known him personally, Tino was more than just a powerful presence on the field—he was the heart and soul of our team, known for his unwavering faith, his fierce dedication, and his deep compassion for everyone around him.

<div>One of the traditions that best captured Tino’s spirit was his ritual of gathering the team before every game. No matter how tense or uncertain the moment, Tino would bring us all together in a tight circle, bow his head, and lead us in a heartfelt prayer. His words were always filled with encouragement, hope, and gratitude—not just for the game ahead, but for the brotherhood we shared. Those moments, filled with Tino’s warmth and steadfast belief, inspired confidence and unity in all of us, both on and off the pitch.

<div>Tino’s impact reached far beyond the try line. He was the first to lend a helping hand and the last to leave when someone was in need. Off the field, Tino’s compassion and generosity touched countless lives—he never hesitated to pray for a teammate, support a friend in tough times, or offer words of wisdom to anyone who needed them. His loss is felt deeply by all who knew him, and most profoundly by his loving family.

<div>At this difficult time, Tino leaves behind his beloved son and daughter, who are bravely navigating unimaginable grief.
