On the morning of Wednesday, August 20th, our beloved Rosie lost her battle with cancer and passed away peacefully at home in San Antonio, Texas. Departing from this world at the age of 61, she is leaving behind her son, her grandson, sisters, brothers, family, friends, and so many more loved ones, along with a legacy of love and cherished memories. Her soul has gone home, and she will be dearly missed by all that loved her!
Rosie was a very special woman with a large heart who showed kindness, care, and compassion to all she met.
She had the willingness to help others, and it didn't matter how long she had known them, even when she herself was battling the greatest battle of her life. Whether it be family or friends, or any of her foster children, if anyone needed her financially or emotionally, she would lend her support.
She would give her last dollar to anyone in need of it, even when she didn’t have much herself, and she would never hesitate to give a listening ear or advice to anyone that needed it; even when she was feeling at her worst, weak and fatigued due to her illness, she would still find the strength and time for others. She was a woman that wore her heart on her sleeve. She was selfless, the epitome of love and kindness!
So, we’re asking those that can find it in their hearts to please show the same kind of care and compassion she had for others so that her final wishes can be fulfilled, and she can be cremated as she wished.
Any donation you desire to make will help. There’s no such thing as too little or too much. Whether it be a dollar or, however more, it will be truly appreciated.
Donations will be forwarded to Jennifer, her daughter-in-law, who is handling the final arrangements for cremation.
Thank you kindly in advance. GOD BLESS!
ALL FUNDS AND DONATIONS COLLECTED WILL BE USED TO PAY ROSIE’S CREMATION AT CASTILLO FUNERAL HOME IN SAN ANTONIO, TX. +1 (210) [phone redacted]
