<div>I'm Jason Sifford, president of the local affiliate for the Music Teachers National Association.

</div>

<div>This year marks MTNA's 150th Anniversary, and each year, states are invited to honor a member at the national conference for their service and support. I could think of no one more worthy than our own Nancy Cree.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>The MTNA Foundation serves to support the educational mission of the organization. Raising $1500 allows us to have Nancy honored as an MTNA Foundation Fellow at the MTNA Gala in Chicago this March.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>One of MTNA's highest honors, the Foundation Fellow program has served the dual purpose of honoring those for their service to the profession while providing important funding in the form of grant programs to teachers and organizations across the country.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Help me send Nancy to Chicago! The Iowa Music Teachers Association has already committed $500 towards our goal, and any funds received in excess of the $1000 target will go directly to Nancy to help with travel and accommodations.
