<div>On November 1st, our family experienced a tragedy that we are still struggling to understand. Our beloved Montique Duncan (Jenkins) was taken from us due to domestic violence. She was a mother, a daughter, a sister, a cousin, a friend and a bright light with a laugh that could soften any moment. Her spirit was loving, goofy, stylish, and unforgettable.

<div>What hurts most is that her youngest children witnessed this tragedy. No child should ever have to see or carry that pain. Their world changed in a moment, and our family is doing everything we can to surround them with love, stability, and support. But we cannot do it alone.

<div>We are holding on to this promise, trusting God to cover her children and our family as we move through this heartbreak.
