You might have watched her working with her pre-team girls, always ready with gentle encouragement, patient guidance, and that special way she had of making every young gymnast feel capable and loved.

Her coaching wasn't just about technique—it was about building confidence, nurturing dreams, and wrapping each child in the kind of warmth that made them believe in themselves. Her hugs were legendary around here, the kind that could turn around a tough day and remind you that you were exactly where you belonged.

<div>What made Mariana truly extraordinary was her grace—not just the physical grace she brought to gymnastics, but the grace with which she moved through life.
