In honor of the late Carver D. Ealy Sr., the Ealy estate seeks to honor his memory by establishing a fund to support a first-generation student at his alma mater, South Carolina State University.

Carver Sr. was a proud alum who valued his education and his institution. Growing up in Mullins, South Carolina to a family with with direct ties to share cropping Carver Sr. knew and valued the opportunity afforded him to be able to attend college.
