Help Us Bring Aldo Fernando Lara Home

It is with heavy hearts that we share the tragic news of the passing of Aldo Fernando Lara, age 34, who took his own life this past Tuesday. Aldo was the beloved partner of our staff member Yolanda Maria Castillo and a cherished volunteer who gave generously of his time and spirit to Homies Empowerment.

Aldo was more than just a volunteer – he was family. He regularly helped at Homies Empowerment, contributing his time and energy with genuine care and dedication. His presence brought light to our community, and his loss has left us devastated.

The costs for international body repatriation include embalming, documentation, transportation, and customs requirements.
