I would like to include you on a wonderful opportunity! I know firsthand how blessed is to give into the lives of children on the mission field. Many years ago I started my adventures on the mission field in Africa. What began as a three month reconnaissance mission became a four year full-time commitment and a lifelong connection to the people of Africa. Ministry in Africa took me to 21 countries and I was blessed to see many people not only receive the love of Jesus, but also receive clean water, shoes, medicine, housing, jobs and many other forms of love and provision. This coming March I will be doing my first ever missions trip to Honduras! Friends of mine from Charis Bible college San Antonio , have built a church on a piece of land and have a vision to build an orphanage to service the local community. There are many children in the area impoverished and there is a great need for relief and the love of God. Currently, a kitchen is being built to serve meals to the children and their families in the community. This will become a mecca for the community to meet and gather and be fed physically and spiritually. The purpose of our upcoming trip is to implement a sustainable food source to be used in this kitchen to support the needs of the village and surrounding area. Based on the environment and ground condition in there, Aquaponics is concluded to be the superior option to meet the needs for a sustainable garden. Aquaponics is essentially the combination of aquaculture and hydroponics. It is a system of aqua culture in which the waste produced by farmed fish or other aquatic animals supplies nutrients for plants grown hydroponically, which in turn purifies the water. This system therefore will supply freshwater, fresh fish, and fresh vegetation! As always on the mission field it is our heart to bring the gospel to the nations! As we meet this physical need for food and drink, we will share the essential food and drink of God‘s holy Word. In my experience I have seen time and time again the hearts of a people open when something so crucial to survival and so desperately needed in their community is being met! They ask themselves why have these people come all this way to do good for us? We can gladly answer that question for it is the love of God that moves any of us to do anything good. It is the love of God that leads people to repentance! It is the love of God that changes hearts, villages, towns, cities, countries, and the world! It is the love of God that compels us to give. Join us on this mission to bring clean water and fresh food to a beautiful people who are about to experience firsthand the love of God because of the seed you are about to sow! Together we can be the hands and feet of Jesus!

“ and how shall they preach, except they be sent? As it is written, how beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! “
