Home to the Other Side of the World

As my friends and family will know, I am a young person who is constantly talking about the wider world and how it needs to change and next year I am going to take a year to start on my journey to try and help others in need.

I am planning on taking a trip with Raleigh International to either Borneo or Costa Rica (I have not quite decided between them yet) for 7 weeks to do community and environmental work. This charity is an incredible organisation that focuses on the work that is needed in the countries that they work in, which is something so important when it comes to group volunteering trips.

I hope to work in charities like this one after university and I am so excited to start fundraising now. Look out for sponsorships and events that I will be doing over the next year.
