Who am I?
My name's Tim; thanks for stopping by my page!
Ever since I started playing music I was writing my own songs. After years of playing in bands I decided to take a different, more terrifying approach...solo.
I entered the studio in January to start recording my first, self-funded solo album, "Home".
The tracks are coming together just as I had hoped and I'm excited to finish. I've had so much help from some brilliant musicians that have helped perfectly capture the sound that I've been looking for.
OK, What's this all about?
It's getting to that time to put this thing together in a tangible format, and I have an idea. I don't want to make this all about me, why not make it a collaboration? So, I've enlisted some of the most talented visual artists I've ever had the pleasure of meeting to contribute!
My dream is that every song will have its own unique visual experience by its unique visual artist.
Rather than just a disc with some tracks on it, I want this album to be a collection of works from all over the country by many exceptionally different people!
Why support me?
The money raised through this campaign will fund the pressing of "Home" on both CDs and vinyl records, the cost of the front and back album artwork, and each corresponding piece of art created for the songs by the different visual artists in the lyric booklet.
When I reach my goal this will give these artists a new outlet, a whole new way of reaching people through my music. And it gives you, the listener, an immersing audio and visual experience...and a chance to not only support one artist but over a dozen all in one contribution.
