The stone house pictured along with 12 acres are part of the historic Cumberland Homesteads area of Cumberland County, TN. The community was created in 1935 by First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt.
This property is being purchased to create Homesteads Haven, a wooded facility for front line workers. (Medical staff, law enforcement, fire service and clergy). Guests can decompress, relax and build relationships with similar minded professionals out in the beautiful Homestead area of the Cumberland Mountains. Located near Cumberland Mountain State Park, guests have the option to enjoy all the park has to offer or play a round of golf at Bear Trace Golf Course. The town of Crossville is nearby with quaint small shops, the renowned Cumberland Playhouse and other attractions. Guests can do as many activities as they want or just rest and renew their mind, body and spirit in a low key environment.
We would like to begin construction the middle of February but need your help to make this a reality. Front line workers were stretched to their limits in 2020 and the fight isn’t over. With your help, we can create an environment for them to recharge their batteries and get back to doing what they do best.
Individuals or businesses donating over $50 will be recognized on the property as donors.
Thank you for your support.
