Homes for Guatemala 2017

This will be the third year that our family has taken a group to Guatemala to build homes for families in need. This has been such a powerful and positive influence in our lives - We love volunteering in Guatemala! We look forward to it and have committed to return yearly.
All money raised here will go to funding homes. This site is not intended for any other expenses.
We work with an organization called Techo - they are a nonprofit similar to Habitat for Humanity. One of the main differences is they develop youth leaders as they build homes for families in need. They work closely with many communities to provide a hand up for the country they love! Donations will be provided with a tax deductable letter by Techo for your 2017 taxes.
Each home is $2700.00. Our family is working to fund two of the five homes that we are raising money for. The family who will own the home helps not only to fund part of the home but also helps the volunteers build.
Each year we offer the opportunity for others to join us! We have people coming in from all over the country including a family with four children. This is a great volunteer opportunity - Techo provides us with a safe, well organized experience where we get to learn the culture and help families in need.
