Homeless vet/joe

I met joe a week ago while vacationing from the hurricane and learned of his story during breakfast at the hotel he lives in. Joe served in the military for 13yrs and is a vietnam vet. He was injured in a motorpool accident and his injury has gotten worse over time. It took 22yrs to get his va approval and in the meantime he lost everything he had. His wife passed away a month before his disability was approved. Joe still proudly wears his military rings and his gold dog tags with the word God on them. I am trying to raise the money to help him buy a used motorhome to live in (thats what he wants because no one can take it from him) and maybe some cash to help him get started. His motel bill is taking all his money. He shared with me how people had taken advantage of him on different occasions. No more Mr joe, my freinds and fellow vets got this!
